Compressed Fluid Technologies
A Division of the Finnish Chemical Societies
The purpose of the division is to promote technologies and processes where compressed or supercritical fluids (especially carbon dioxide and water), and other environmentally favourable solvents (i.e. ionic liquids) are used. Compressed fluids may be put to use in separation processes, as reaction media, in waste treatment, particle production, materials purification and in analytics. For more information about compressed fluids click here.
The division forms a network among universities, contract research institutes, engineering companies and industry (food, drug, cosmetics, pulp & paper, oil and plastics industries). The network covers applications in industrial, pilot and laboratory scales.
Interested individuals and companies are invited to join the division.
Division chairman is Dr. Kari Hartonen, tel.: +358 9 191 50 265

These pages provide a one-point entry to the compressed fluid technologies and other activities within the network in Finland. The pages are under development.
The Association of Finnish Chemical Societies is a private organization of professionals and students.
